Dream Home.

Designing my own home has been on my mind for nearly 20 years. I've been a diehard fan of Frank Lloyd Wright's architectural designs since high school, which was the reason why I originally elected to major in Architecture my freshman year in college. I've evolved my ideas over the years But I know Bauhaus is the style I'm really looking for. I feel it reflects my personality. I've also been into contemporary Japanese interior designs. The contemporary Japanese furniture along with the cosmopolitan highlights is definately up my alley.
I like rolling hills, swaying trees, and acres of green grass too. I love the peace and quiet and how crisp and fresh the morning air is. I've been blessed to either live in areas where there was plenty of land to wander around on and be completely isolated from civilization. I want to have a home on a large piece of land where you drive down this long winding driveway to get to my home. I want large windows so lots of light can come in during the day. I want large open spaces so I can actually function as an artist in my own home--paint paintings and have lots of wall space to hang my work and the work of other artists.
I've always loved Montana because you get the full effect of each season there. Unfortunately, people like George Lucas, Ed Bradley, and Harrison Ford have made a mad rush to Montana and shot up the cost of houses in some areas.
Right now I'm still young and I like to live in the city so I can walk to nearly all the hot spots downtown. I can step out of my high rise anytime of the morning or afternoon and the streets are overflowing with hot young chicks jogging up and down the streets, outdoor events, and club attractions. I've braught many friends from out of town to Birmingham and they're shocked to see so much activity going on and the fact that Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy's and the Cheesecake Factory is right around the corner. They're shocked to see that Metro Birmingham is surrounded by multi-million dollar homes and a world reknown medical community.
The people that have moved out into the county are complaining that they have to commute and living out there keeps them out of the social loop. They can't have their cake and eat it too. They want to be as far away from us negroes as possible and live in peace and quiet but they're still young enough to want to enjoy the nightlife and attractions in the city.
