I simply can’t express in words how excited I am for Tony Dungy and Lovie Smith. For the first time in the history of professional football there will be two black head coaches in the Super Bowl. I don’t know who to be happier for - Lovie Smith for escaping the chopping block and getting a new contract or Tony Dungy for getting fired from Tampa Bay and going to Indianapolis to become the coach he’s become today. To tell you the truth, though, I’d have to give some serious props to Tony. The man has gone through some hell. Not only did he get the axe after turning around the sorriest ass team in the NFL, the Tampa Bay  Buccaneers, and making them a competative team, he also lost his son. You can tell the stress of being a black head coach in the NFL and losing his son has taken it’s toll. Dungy has noticably lost weight and the hollow stare he has while he’s on the sidelines breaks my heart. But after tonight’s win against the Patriots I’m sure Tony will rest  at least a little easier tonight.

As for the Patriots I can’t stand those bastards. They’ve been to the Superbowl enough in this decade and it’s time for them to sit the hell down. I can’t lie, though - I couldn’t watch most of the game, especially, the parts of the game where the Patriots were leading 21 to 3. I simply just couldn’t watch Tony lose. But when I went back downstairs to the den to see the score tied up, 31 all, in the 2nd half I knew the Colts had a fighting chance. Hell, I’m so happy I don’t even care who wins the Super Bowl. And as if this wasn’t enough, my boy, PRINCE, is going to be the halftime entertainment. Hell YEAH, this is turning out to be a wonderful year!!
